Founded in **Apply on the website**, Outhouse is the LGBT+ community
resource centre in Dublin. Our vision is of a vibrant and safe space
for LGBT+ people, groups, and organisations that are inclusive of the
diversity of our communities.
Our mission is to provide a safe space that facilitates and encourages
the growth of services and supports the LGBT+ communities.
We are guided by community, equality, and partnership principles in
all of our work.
Before the pandemic, approximately **Apply on the website**,**Apply on
the website** people per year access our services that, include;
* a drop-in service;
* sexual health drop-in clinic;
* personal development courses;
* peer support groups;
* a community caf?;
* Ireland's only queer library & theatre;
* office & multi-purpose meeting rooms for hire;
* information, referral & support services;
* outreach & training;
* activities & events.
Outhouse is requesting support to develop a new 5-year strategic plan.
We believe now is the time to take a step back and ensure that we
serve our current and future clients and the wider LGBT+ community in
the most effective way possible. Along with deciding on the future
goals and activities of the organisation, we want to ensure that we
have the organisation and the operating model and funding model to
deliver the programmes, align the sector around common goals, and
remain open to using partnerships to deliver our programmes.
